He is best known as the founder of several biotech companies devoted to curing genetic diseases. ==Early life and education== Crowley was raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, the son of an Englewood police officer who died in an accident on duty when Crowley was eight years old.〔Secher, Benjamin.
